[jade-develop] Why Containers are needed

What is the role of container and why it is needed. Is it not be good to
just have a single container and all the agents are created in that
container

Hi,

Containers are the base for distribution: by activating containers on different hosts you can distribute your agents on many computers e.g. to achieve scalability, fault tolerance...
If you don’t need that, you are not forced to create a distributed platform with many containers though: just start all your agents in the Main Container.
